Julia is a comedian, writer, and large-boy-sized lady based in New York City, by way of her hometown of Boston. She has performed in the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, the Limestone Comedy Festival, the Brooklyn Comedy Festival, the New York Comedy Festival, and the Boston Comedy Festival, and has opened for David Cross, Joel Kim Booster, Ron Funches, Aparna Nancherla, Beth Stelling, Mark Normand, Charlie Pickering, Carmen Lynch, and SNL's Aidy Bryant.

Since moving to New York she has performed in venues all over the city including UCB, New York Comedy Club and Caroline's on Broadway. Her work has been featured in The Boston Globe, Funny or Die, People, WhoHaha, Slate, Someecards, Paste, Buzzfeed, Refinery29, Huffington Post, and the New York Times. She has been featured on Doug Loves Movies, NPR's You're the Expert, Nerdist's Competitive Erotic Fan Fiction, and Sirius XM Radio’s Tell Me Everything with John Fugelsang.

Julia also did voiceover work for iHeartRadio’s Lolita Podcast, which was critically acclaimed by the New York Times, The New Yorker, NPR’s Fresh Air, and featured in Time Magazine’s Best Podcasts of 2021.

She is co-host of the acclaimed political comedy podcast Reply Guys, which one reviewer hailed as, “Nancy Reagan would hate this podcast. Five stars,” and where such guests as Senator Ed Markey, author and New Yorker staff writer Patrick Radden Keefe, and Congressman Mondaire Jones have appeared.
